WTI’s ingredients extend shelf-life in fresh, ready-to-cook, meat and poultry items, such as, chicken breasts, wings and legs, whole bird, ground beef, fresh sausage, and pork loin, by delaying the growth of spoilage microorganisms. Our ingredients are also effective in preventing mold growth in jerky.
Our ingredients are at yield parity compared with phosphates commonly used in deli meats, chicken, hotdogs, sausage and other meat and poultry items.
Consumer tasting studies have shown that food items with WTI ingredients are more tender, savory, and flavorful than those without.
